PPS filter bag, also known as polyphenylene sulfide, is a heat-resistant dust filter material made from Gutsche – Germany that can work continuously at 190oC / 375oF.
DISTINCTIVE FEATURES OF PPS FILTER BAGS

Strengths: The special PPS material is particularly resistant to hydrolysis, wear, and acid.

Weaknesses: PPS materials only perform efficiently at oxygen concentrations of less than 12%. The tensile strength of the material is dramatically diminished when oxygen concentrations are above 12%.
Like other materials, PPS Materials can be added to antistatic fibers to become antistatic dust filters.
Note: In PPS composition, there is 30% Sulfur, so the possibility of material being oxidized at high temperature reduces the life of the bag, so it is necessary to consider reducing the temperature or reducing the oxygen content to increase the life of the bag filter.
