

CONTROLLERS
In Tan Thanh’s product categories, the Pulse Timer/Controller is the most important electronic device in the automation, it directly controls the operation of the solenoid valves in the pulse jet cleaning dust collector system and cylinders.
There are 2 types of solenoid valves involved:
– Air valve with solenoid coil, used to control the dedust valve remotely by compressed air pipe (remote pilot type).
– Dedust valve with solenoid coil directly controlled mounted on the cover (integral pilot type).

Function of the pulse controller
Some general functions and standards
– Pulse Controlller of a number of solenoid valves, up to 100 or 200 valve outputs.
– ON/OFF filter cleaning cycle from exterior switch outside the box, with valve indicator LED.
– Accurate setting of pulse time and interval time.
– Controlls the cylinder to close/open the chamber, air outlet.
– Supply & output voltage selectable via jumper or model.
– IP65 or higher or NEMA4 device protection standard: dustproof and waterproof for plastic or metal box-shaped devices, containing electrical components operating inside the box, impact-resistant design.
– CE standard: equipment ensures quality, electrical safety, explosion-proof.
– Satisfy relevant EC Directives.
Special Functions
Some controller types are designed with separate, special functions or expanded according to different control and connection methods, to diversify and be more suitable for specific operating conditions:
– Using the pressure difference between air intake and exhaust to control the On/Off solenoid valve, based on the set pressure difference values and the time interval between pulses.
– Logic circuit controller, controlling the solenoid coil of the diaphragm valve to arrange the pneumatic pulse sequence programming of the valves.
– Increasing the number of valve outputs by extended connection methods in the same pulse cycle series.
– Connecting to the PLC/DCS control system.
– Microprocessor functions, programming, according to the differential pressure sensor, setting the On/Off cycle and sequential pulses between valves, …
– Pre-wired with built-in solenoid coils, supplying a pneumatic pulse output control device.
– Power switch, digital display screen monitoring from outside the box.
– Automatic valve number detection function, valve operation monitoring.
– Automatic or manual setting.
– Different operating temperature range and environment.
– Different box and cover materials.

The operating equipment in the dust collector system, directly or indirectly related to automatic control, depending on the options of each system, includes: diaphragm pulse valve (dust removal valve), remote-controlled solenoid valve, remote-controlled solenoid coil box, compressed air tank system with assembly immersed diaphragm pulse valves, various types of sensors, actuator/cylinder, etc.

Direct consultation
In the dust collector systems using filter bags or filter cartridges made by Tan Thanh, automation and control components will be designed to be integrated into the system. Each pulse jet dust collector system needs at least one set of electronic controller.
