ASCO Valve Controllers E909BB Part Numbering System
Based on the model design, differential pressure sensor, output standard, voltage, equipped with protective plastic box (housing & cover), E909BB has distinguishing part number to help order accurately as follows:
E909 / Model / Output Number / Supply Voltage / Output Voltage / Housing ± Option
- Model: B = Controller with DP Control.
- Output Number: Number of ports that control the number of pulse valves.
- Supply Voltage: Standard supply voltage AC (~) 230/115 V (U=24VDC, B=24VAC, L=115VAC, M=230VAC).
- Output Voltage: Standard output voltage DC (=) 24 V (U=24VDC, B=24VAC, L=115VAC, M=230VAC).
- Housing ± Option: Housing size, option on request: other voltage ratings, other housings and devices with ATEX approval.
Example: E909BB24MU1.5 is an electronic controller with DP control, up to 24 solenoid valves, AC 230V / DC 24V, housing size 1.5.
Feature of ASCO E909BB
E909BB Series is a product line of electronic control with digital control of differential pressure (∆P), to control from 4 to 48 solenoid valves in a dust collection system. Made in ITALY according to European CE standards and ATEX explosion proof protection. The outer box is designed as a dust-proof and waterproof plastic box according to standard IP65 ABS (housing), transparent PC cover that can be observed from the outside.
General features of ASCO E909BB Series and E909PB Series
– Sequential controllers especially developed to control 4 to 48 dust collector pulse valves.
– Microprocessor management.
– Standard supply voltage and output voltage selectable via jumper (In/out 230VAC or 24VDC).
– Standard voltage (supply AC ~230/115 V, output DC =24 V), or other voltages on request.
– Max. load power per output: 25W.
– 3 programming keys and 3 digit LED display.
– Adjustable pulse and interval times.
– Automatic detection of number of valves.
– Additional post-cleaning cycle mode.
– High immunity from external interference.
– Short-circuit protection of every single output.
– 1 output relay (e.g. group alarm), 2 digital inputs (volt-free).
– Ambient temperature: -10oC to ≤60oC.
Advanced features of Series E909BB
– Integral ∆P sensor for ON/OFF filter cleaning cycles.
– Output signal ∆P 4-20 mA optional.
Specification of Series E909BB
– The table of specifications includes the criteria: numbers of output, adjustable pulse time, adjustable interval time, tube connection for ∆P sensor, size of box, catalogue number.
– Numbers of ouput, as standard, from 4 to 48 valves, up to 192 valves on request.

– Box (housing): ABS (acryl nitrile butadiene styrene), grey.
– Cover: PC (polycarbonate), transparent.
– Protection degree (electrical enclosure): IP65, IP66.
– Temperature: -10 ÷ ≤ 60 (°C).
On request, the specifications of each type can be modified to comply with specific EN Directives, for example:
– Material: PS (thermosplastic) (RAL 7035).
– Protection degree: IP66 (EN60529).
– Temperature: -10°C to 70°C.
– Impact resistance: >7 Nm (EN50014).
Housing sizes are divided into 3 groups, based on the size of the controller:
– Size 1 (part numbering 1.3): small size, from 4 outputs to 16 outputs.
– Size 2 (part numbering 1.5): medium size for 24 and 32 outputs.
– Size 3 (part numbering 7.5): big size, suitable for 40 and up to 48 outputs.

Tan Thanh provides specific solutions, suitable for various requirements and options:
– Pulse valves: Single or dual stage, integral pilot or remote pilot, threaded body(1½” to 3″) or quick coupling (compresion fitting ∅1½), or quick mount clamp connection.
– Pulse valves with integrated electromagnetic coils to control dust shaking pulses right on the valve body (integral pilot), or remotely controlled (remote pilot) through a separate coil box (pilot valve boxes).
– Pulse valve controller sequentially according to set time (E909PB Series) or integrated digital control according to differential pressure sensor (E909BB Series).
