Features of stainless steel cages and applications
- Stainless steel (inoxydable) is the one type of alloy with two special components, chromium and nickel, which give it high corrosion resistance and rust prevention across a wide temperature range. It is non-magnetic, flexible, easy to weld, and meets high strength requirements. It can be colored, smooth and friction-resistant surface (without additional plating or painting), requires low maintenance, and cleaned easily.
- Due to its outstanding features (mechanical, corrosion resistance, heat resistance), stainless steel is the best material for manufacturing filter bag cage or frames and various components such as body (longitudinal wires, reinforcing rings), mouth, top, bottom, joints, and venturi. The high tensile strength and weldability of stainless steel wire enhance the strength, deformation resistance, and breakage resistance of filter bag cages.
- Stainless steel cages meet the most strict requirements for harsh environments and conditions such as high temperatures, chemical exposure, humidity, and abrasion. They are used in industrial dust filtration systems in factories such as steel, cement, wood, incinerators, boilers, chemical plants, pharmaceuticals, fertilizers, animal feed, mining, thermal power, ink, paint filtration, etc.
Quality of Tan Thanh Stainless Steel Frames
- Common material are SUS201 and SUS304. During mechanical processing such as straightening, stamping, etc., stainless steel might get scratched, stretched, and slightly magnetized.
- Quality Control: Quality inspection at Quatest 3 or SGS, with important components Ni/Cr identified with a content ratio of 8/18 (%) or higher, is recognized as SUS304 steel (as shown in the typical report below).

Notes on Cr and Ni Content in Stainless Steel Alloys:
- Chromium: The most important element, with a content above 10.5%, provides good corrosion resistance.
- Nickel: High content increases oxidation resistance, rust prevention, crack resistance, and ease of forming during mechanical processing.

- Making rings and frame body: straightening, pulling, bending, cutting stainless steel wire.
- Welding rings, grinding.

- Welding top and bottom to form a complete stainless steel frame.
- Additional venturi accessories (detachable, welded, or riveted) as required.
