Features of Electrogalvanized Steel Filter Cage
Electrogalvanized steel cage is the frame that supports the dust filter bag. The steel frame is coated with zinc on the entire steel surface by electrogalvanizing (electrochemical coating of metal), to protect the surface and prevent rust. Electrogalvanizing is also called cold galvanizing, when compared with hot-dip galvanizing.
The steel cage is processed through the steps of soaking the steel cage in a cold zinc bath with an electric current flowing through it to form a zinc layer adhering to the surface of the steel cage. This method helps the steel cage have an even, thin, firm, shiny, and hardened zinc coating faster (compared to hot-dip galvanizing). The zinc coating makes the steel surface resistant to oxidation and abrasion for a long time.
The process of steel spinning – cleaning – surface activation – electrolytic galvanizing doubles the tensile strength of the steel wire, thereby helping to increase the bearing capacity, protect the cage from rust and wear, and increase the life of the dust filter bag cage cage.

Tan Thanh customizes cages according to customer size and structure requirements. Before processing, technicians will survey, measure, and take sample, ensuring the cage after machining is accurate.
Manufacturing process at Tan Thanh
– Black steel wire is processed to form the cage body, through the lines of shaping, bending, cutting, grinding, and welding rings to increase rigidity by multi-point press welding method, beautiful and uniform welds, straight cage, minimizing welding scales.
– The cage body is welded to the top and bottom to form a cage cage. Venturium (welded or riveted) can be attached, upon request.
– The cage (after completing the welding process) is transferred to the stage of cleaning, activating and electrolytic galvanizing.
– The galvanized layer has the required thickness and adhesion coverage (quality tested at Quatest 3).
– Storage and delivery: close wooden pallets / wrap the belt + shrink film / to leave (Contact for further advice).
Electrogalvanized steel filter cages manufactured by Tan Thanh
The shiny finished cage is highly aesthetic, the welded edges are surrounded by a layer of zinc to avoid rust. The cost can increase by 20-30% compared to the hot-dip (pre-welded) type of plating cage due to the cost of plating, as well as the requirement of a large length plating tank.
