Features of Venturi Filter Bag Cage

• For dust filter bags with a length over 3 meters (max 6 meters), the bag mouth needs to be equipped with a venturi, which is treated as a guide tube for compressed directly air pulses to the bottom of the bag, enhancing dust cleaning efficiency along the whole length from the mouth to the bottom of the filter bag.

• There are 2 types of venturi: aluminum venturi (separated) and steel venturi (welded or riveted to the cage mouth).

• Common advantages: Optimizes the pulse air- flow for dust cleaning. The separated aluminum venturi does not prevent the fan’s suction force.

• Cages with venturi made of galvanized and electrostatic powder coating, or stainless steel are suitable for high-temperature environments and resistant to chemical impacts such as humidity, acids, and bases.

• For shorter bag length (less than 3 meters), cages without venturi can be used. Refer: Filter bag cages without Venturi.

Application of Venturi Filter Bag Cage

Dust filter bag cages with separeted aluminum or steel venturi are used in various dust treatment applications: factory dust filtration, incinerator dust filtration, production lines generating dust, and many industrial sectors.

TAN THANH will manufacture according to the size and structure requirements of customers. Before manufacturing, technicians will survey, measure, and take samples to ensure the cagess are accurate after processing.

The cages are processed using multi-point welding methods, with beautiful and uniform welds, straight cages, and minimal welding slag.

Production process of venturi filter bag cage at TAN THANH

• Making steel wires to the required diameters ranging from 3mm to 5mm.
  – If the material is black steel, hot-dip galvanizing of the wire, top, and bottom of the cages can be performed (upon request).

• Making ring and cage body: Straighten, draw, bend, and cut the steel wire.
• Ring Welding and Grinding.
• Body Welding.
• Top and Bottom Welding to form a complete steel cages.
• Adding a steel venturi to the top of the cage using spot welding or riveting.
  – Combine with electrostatic powder coating or electro-galvanizing (upon request).

• A note of stainless steel material:
