Silo Top Filter Cartridge

Silo Top Filter Cartridge is a tubular dust collector with a pleated filter core, installed in dust extraction systems to collect dust and aggregate during the loading and mixing process. Silo top cartridge filter is a compact system optimized for dust extraction on top of silos/containers, not only prevent dust from leaking into the air but also help to collect and recycle dust into the silo. Suitable for hot asphalt concrete mixing stations in the construction industry, cement plants, as well as in other factories that need to store and collect loose dust, such as food processing, chemical production, etc.

• Cartridge dust collectors remove dust generated during the pouring, storage or emptying of silos, such as asphalt silos. 
• Cleaning mechanism: Many silo top filters incorporate a reverse air jet cleaning system that periodically cleans the filter cartridges, dislodging the accumulated dust. 
• Pleated filters increase the surface area for filtration in a smaller space. The filter is designed for easy installation under conditions of use on top of silos. This allows for more compact cartridge filters than baghouse filters, making maintenance easier and quicker.

Filter material and filter tube structure

Filter core:

• The polyester material sheet is folded and rolled into a tube shape (even round cylinder or cylinder with large bottom and small bottom), mainly made from polyester synthetic polymer fiber material or polyester filter paper.
• The polyester plastic paper material produced by Toray Japan has the ability to filter 99.99+% of dust with a size of 2 microns.
• Moisture and oil resistant material.
• Operating temperature at 100-120°C (below 140°C) in dry condition and low medium acid content.

Filter tube body:

• The rolled polyester tube is fixed with a steel mesh frame, stainless steel mesh or plastic mesh, to protect the filter material layer and withstand durable pressure during the filtration process.

Top and bottom construction:

• The top and bottom of the filter tube (made of galvanized steel, stainless steel or cast plastic) are attached with specialized glue, sealed with rubber gaskets.
