Antistatic Polyester Filter Cartridge

Tan Thanh’s Antistatic Polyester Filter Cartridge is a type of filter cartridge media made mainly of Polyester, treated with antistatic fibers, to increase the ability to handle /remove explosive dust / particles with accumulated charges, dust /particles with moisture and oil (moisture resistance level 4/6), fine and ultra-fine dust (from 0.3 to 5.0 µm). The filter is installed in cartridge dust collection systems or cartridge dust cabinets, in industrial production lines.

Filter material and structure of antistatic filter Cartridge

Filter core:

• Polyester material sheet combined with anti-static synthetic fibers is folded and rolled into a tube shape.
• Polyester material produced by Toray Japan has the ability to filter 99.97% of dust with a size of 0.3 micron.
• The surface of Polyester material has the ability to resist dust, moisture and oil vapor on the filter tube surface.
• The ability to resist dust that accumulates electric energy causing fire and explosion is better when compared to conventional basic Polyester material.
• Working temperature of Polyester filter core: ≤120°C.

Filter tube body:

The rolled (Polyester) tube is fixed with a steel mesh frame or stainless steel mesh, which can withstand durable pressure during the filtration process.

Top and bottom structure:

• The top and bottom of the filter tube are made of stainless steel or plastic, and are attached with specialized glue.
• The filter mouth has a conductive wire (ground wire) attached.

Cartridge filters can be installed in two main ways: vertical installation and horizontal installation.

Applications of antistatic filter Cartridge

With the basic filter material being Polyester, antistatic cartridge filters are often used in dust filtration applications with the best working temperature at a continuous threshold of 120 (<135) degrees Celsius, dry operating environment and low average acid content. Very good use in cartridge dust collection systems and cartridge fume hoods, meeting the treatment of fine dust, electrostatic dust that can cause explosions, dust mixed with moisture and oil, with high cleanliness requirements, suitable for the food, pharmaceutical, chemical, coating, electronics and many other industries. Regarding maintenance, it is very easy to install, easy to check, clean and easy to replace.

Polyester filter paper produced by Toray Japan can filter 99.99+% of dust particles sized 2 microns, large filter area, high durability.
