Oval Air Filter Cartridge

The Oval Cartridge Filter of Tan Thanh Filtration has the following specifications:

• Provides up to 25% more airflow compared to other similarly sized cartridge filters.
• Shorter and stiffer pleats help minimize dust accumulation, making it easier to clean.
• By reducing the pleat height from the standard 2 inches to 1.5 inches, the pleats are less likely to collapse or bend, thus retaining dust and making it less likely for dirt to escape, saving costs.
• Oval-shaped cartridge filters are less prone to wear, extending the product’s lifespan.

Filter Material and Structure

Core Filter Part:

• The filter material sheet is pleated with shorter pleat steps, rolled into an oval shape, mainly made from synthetic polymer fiber Polyester.
• The surface of the material can be treated with a coating to prevent dust adhesion, making it easier to clean with compressed air pulses.

Filter Body:

• The oval-shaped roll is fixed by a steel mesh, stainless steel mesh, or plastic mesh to protect the filter material and withstand durable pressure during filtration.

Top and Bottom Structure:

• The top and bottom of the filter (made of galvanized steel, stainless steel, or molded plastic) are bonded with specialized adhesive and sealed with rubber gaskets.
• Some designs may include additional stainless steel bands or discs.

Installing Cartridge Filters 

Cartridge filters can be installed in two main ways: vertical installation and horizontal installation.

Applications of TAN THANH Filter Cartridge

With basic filter materials (such as Polyester, PTFE-coated Polyester, Nanoweb-coated Polyester, or blended with Cellulose fibers, fiberglass, etc.), cartridge filters are commonly used in dust filtration applications with working temperatures from 80-100°C or can withstand higher temperatures in dry conditions.

They are very effective in cartridge dust recovery systems and cartridge extraction cabinets, meeting high cleanliness requirements. In terms of maintenance, they are easy to install, inspect, clean, and replace.

Compared to dust filter bags, oval cartridge filters have a higher initial investment cost because they meet the necessary goals of enhancing filtration efficiency in space-constrained conditions, being more synchronized and flexible with processing procedures, thereby reducing the plant’s operating costs.
