POSITIVE PRESSURE BAG FILTER DUST COLLECTION SYSTEM
The positive pressure bag filter dust collection system utilizes a centrifugal fan to collect dust-laden air, pushing it through the fan and into a central processing chamber equipped with bag filters. The operating principle of the positive pressure bag filter system, designed by the team of engineers at Tan Thanh Company, is described as follows.
Operating Principle
- The centrifugal fan is positioned before the central processing device. When in operation, the fan creates positive pressure within the dust processing and exhaust chamber. Waste gas containing dust and impurities is gathered via suction hoods and ducting, drawn into the centrifugal fan, passed through it, and pushed into the dust processing chamber.
- This exhaust gas enters the chamber containing the filtration devices; dust moves down into the hopper, while clean air is released outside through outlets on the device body.
- During air circulation, dust accumulates on the inner surface of the bag filters. This dust layer builds up over time. As the dust layer thickens, the filtration device’s air resistance increases, requiring continuous removal to maintain peak system performance.
- Dust on the bags is removed using a reverse cleaning mechanism. Fans are arranged on the device body to periodically blow air in reverse into the bag chamber, removing accumulated dust from inside the bags. This mechanism ensures good filtration efficiency and extends the lifespan of the filter media.
- Dust removed from the bag surface falls into the hopper below and is transported via an under-filter discharge system (including rotary valves, screw conveyors, drag chains, etc.) to be collected for recycling or disposal.
- The filtration efficiency of the positive pressure bag filter reaches up to 99.5%.
System Structure
- The suction fan is designed by TATA FILTRATION according to specific standards, offering high efficiency, diverse motor options, and various models, with full control over technical parameters during manufacturing.
- The central dust processing and filtration unit includes filter bags crafted from genuine materials with clear CO/CQ documentation, ensuring compliance with industrial standards.
- The hopper collects dust extracted from generation points, using rotary valves, screw conveyors, drag chains, or discharge fans at the bottom to transport dust to centralized processing or recycling areas.
- The reverse pulse fan system employs a reverse cleaning mechanism to remove dust from inside the filter bags, calculated and designed according to specific standards.
- Electrical control system for the entire setup with multiple operating modes (fan, rotary valves, control circuits for pulse valves, etc.).
- Suction hoods and ducting system to draw smoke, dust, and pollutants to the processing unit.
- Integration of a high-tech explosion suppression system to neutralize and prevent potential fire and explosion incidents.
Explosion Suppression System
- Explosions are detected in the initial stage inside the device, followed by the prevention of fire spread.
- The system eliminates damage to technological equipment, protecting human health and lives.
- The suppression system operates based on highly sensitive sensors capable of detecting an emerging explosion in milliseconds. The controller sends signals to open valves. The extinguishing agent tank pressure pushes special telescopic nozzles, ensuring effective dispersion into the protected area, thus controlling explosion pressure and minimizing side effects.
- In 0.001 seconds, the explosion suppression system can:
+ Detect pressure accumulation leading to an explosion.
+ Discharge chemical explosion-prevention agents into the space before explosion pressure rises.
+ Remove heat from the bursting flames.
+ Lower the temperature below the ignition threshold.
+ Extinguish unburned elements and prevent heat transfer.
+ Protect property and human lives.
