Cellulose Air Filter Cartridge

TATA Filter’s Cellulose Cartridge Filter is cylindrical in shape, with pleated Cellulose rolls to increase the surface area for dust handling with low differential pressure, enhancing the efficiency of dust and pollutant gas collection.

Cellulose Filter Material 

Cellulose is a natural polymer fiber obtained from plant-based fibers, environmentally friendly. With high crystallinity, Cellulose is chemically processed to dry into fibers or combined with plasticizers to mold into films, becoming a material used in the production of paper, artificial fibers, fabrics, and plastics. In the dust and industrial gas filtration industry, Cellulose is manufactured into fabric or paper materials used to filter air, smoke, dust, and pollutant particles in the air and exhaust gases, meeting high cleanliness filtration requirements.

The above parameters show:

  • Cellulose has a light and dense fiber structure, smooth surface with low air permeability, helping Cellulose filter dust, smoke, and gas, suspended particles.
  • Higher Cellulose content (%) results in thicker filter fabric with lower air permeability and poorer moisture resistance.
  • Nano membrane coating technology on the surface of Cellulose enhances moisture resistance (oil and water vapor).
  • Nano membrane coating with flame retardant helps handle dust like coal ash, while improving moisture and oil resistance.
  • Polyester has good mechanical strength, and with the same weight, it is thinner and therefore has higher air permeability compared to Cellulose.
  • Polyester withstands higher temperatures, is moisture-resistant, acid-resistant, and alkali-resistant.

Structure of TATA Filter Cellulose Cartridge Filter

Core Filter Part:

  • The Cellulose material sheet is pleated and rolled into a cylindrical shape with dimensions and surface area ensuring the correct design.
  • Cellulose fiber material filters fine dust, or Cellulose/Polyester fiber with the most common ratio of 80/20 (%) filters larger dust and particles, enhancing durability and moisture resistance as required.
  • Working temperature of the Cellulose core filter: ≤ 80°C.
  • Precisely filters dust and particles from 0.5 – 1 – 2 µm depending on the type of synthetic Cellulose fiber.

Filter Body:

  • Inner mesh frame (shaping the filter) and outer mesh frame (protecting the Cellulose core) with good airflow.
  • The mesh frame is made of stainless steel or galvanized steel.

Top and Bottom Structure:

  • The top and bottom of the filter (made of galvanized steel, stainless steel, or molded plastic) are bonded with specialized adhesive and sealed with rubber gaskets.
  • Some designs may include additional stainless steel bands, load-bearing discs installed in floor holes, etc.
  • Top and bottom made of electroplated steel, stainless steel, or plastic.
  • Special rubber gaskets to seal the filter, preventing dust leakage and compressed air loss.

Applications of TAN THANH Filter Cartridge
