Polyester Air Filter Cartridge with PTFE Membrane

TATA Filter’s Polyester Air Filter Cartridge with PTFE Membrane is a type of filtration medium made from Polyester, with the surface treated with a PTFE membrane to enhance the basic Polyester material’s capabilities, making it a higher-performance filtration medium:

• Higher temperature resistance compared to Polyester, ensuring structural integrity and performance in high-temperature environments.
• The chemical resistance of the PTFE coating protects the filter material from degradation in harsh chemical environments.
• Improved airflow due to reduced dust adhesion.
• Fine particle filtration ensures a higher level of cleanliness in industrial applications.

The filter is installed in industrial dust recovery systems or dust extraction cabinets, capable of filtering (recovering, removing) highly adhesive, fine, and ultra-fine dust particles generated during industrial production.

Filter Material and Structure

Core Filter Part:

• The Polyester with PTFE membrane material sheet is pleated and rolled into a cylindrical shape (either uniformly cylindrical or with a larger base and smaller top), mainly made from synthetic polymer fiber Polyester or Polyester filter paper.
• Polyester filter paper produced by Toray Japan can filter 99.97% of dust particles sized 0.3 microns.
• The Polyester material is treated with a PTFE coating can prevent dust adhesion on the filter surface, making it easier to clean with compressed air pulses.
• Better chemical resistance compared to regular basic Polyester material.
• Working temperature of the Polyester material: 100-135°C.

Filter Body:

• The rolled cylinder is fixed by a steel mesh, stainless steel mesh, or plastic mesh to protect the filter material and withstand durable pressure during filtration.

Top and Bottom Structure:

• The top and bottom of the filter (made of galvanized steel, stainless steel, or molded plastic) are bonded with specialized adhesive and sealed with rubber gaskets.
• Some designs may include additional stainless steel bands or discs.

Cartridge filters can be installed in two main ways: vertical installation and horizontal installation.

In terms of maintenance, they are easy to install, inspect, clean, and replace.
