Polyester Air Filter Cartridge

TATA Filter Polyester Cartridge Filter is a type of filtration medium made from spun bonded polyester, installed in industrial dust recovery systems or dust extraction cabinets. It has the capability to filter (recover, remove) highly adhesive, fine, and ultra-fine dust particles generated during industrial production.

Filter Material and Structure of Polyester Cartridge Filter

Core Filter Part:

• The Polyester material sheet is pleated and rolled into a cylindrical shape (either uniformly cylindrical or with a larger base and smaller top), mainly made from synthetic polymer fiber Polyester or Polyester filter paper.
• Polyester filter paper produced by Toray Japan can filter 99.97% of dust particles sized 0.3 microns.
• If the surface of the Polyester material is treated with a PTFE coating, it can prevent dust adhesion on the filter surface, making it easier to clean with compressed air pulses.
• Better chemical resistance compared to non-woven fabric dust filter bags.
• Working temperature of the Polyester core filter: 100-135°C.

Filter Body:

• The rolled Polyester cylinder is fixed by a steel mesh, stainless steel mesh, or plastic mesh to protect the filter material and withstand durable pressure during filtration.

Top and Bottom Structure:

• The top and bottom of the filter (made of galvanized steel, stainless steel, or molded plastic) are bonded with specialized adhesive and sealed with rubber gaskets.
• Some designs may include additional stainless steel bands or discs.

Cartridge filters can be installed in two main ways: vertical installation and horizontal installation.

Compared to Polyester dust filter bags, Polyester Cartridge Filters have a higher initial investment cost because they meet the necessary goals of significantly enhancing filtration efficiency in space-constrained conditions, being more synchronized and flexible with processing procedures, thereby reducing the plant’s operating costs.
